Cinematographers form a personal relationship with their camera for a creative partnership that can last years and span every location on the planet! Starting with a chassis machined from solid aluminum, capped with a smooth rubber front and rear for easy grip, plus a rear facing touchscreen for easy metadata entry, you get a stylish design that’s optimized for the whole post production workflow. Blackmagic Cinema Camera includes standard jack audio so there are no custom connectors!

The best interview about the camera was conducted by POST Magazine and Grant Petty himself, which you can find here :

I love this camera! When I first read about it, I could hardly believe it, as I was looking at the specs it was like a checklist that fixed every single thing that I didnt like about the RED scarlet. For the price of RED SSD media I can just buy a Black Magic! My only gripe about the camera is the funny looking case. It wont stop me from buying one, but I sure hope that you come up with a cooler one that is "black" and his machined grip on the sides.

    Thanks!
